The Chief Surgeon penetrates soft tissue to the bone, then makes resection of damaged areas and their milling. Then places the hip or knee implant. For example the hip replacement is implemented by three methods: traditional, conservative and resurface systems. Chief Surgeon always chooses the most appropriate method according to the degree of hip/knee damage considering the health status and age of the patient. Our surgeons work only with implants with necessary certifications – e.g. Zimmer and Smith and Nephew, a worldwide leader in the industry.
Waiting times
There is no waiting time at the clinic, the medical team is very flexible and always tries to meet patients’ demands. The clinic itself guarantees that if a patient booked until 10th of the certain month he/she can chose any date of the next month (for example: until February, 10 – any date of the operation in March).
Length of stay
Generally three weeks (including the rehabilitation)
Day 1 hospitalization, evaluation of pre-surgery checkups
Day 2 Surgery
Day 3 and 4 ICU under the supervision of the Chief Orthopedist
Followed by 5 days under the supervision of orthopedist
Followed by rehabilitation stay (14 days minimum)
